Automating OSINT data collection into knowledge graph using LLMs

We are thrilled to present the next installment of our Meet The Experts series, focusing on the groundbreaking topic of “Automating OSINT Data Collection into Knowledge Graph using Large Language Models (LLMs).” In our ever-evolving digital landscape, staying ahead requires innovative approaches, and this event promises to unveil the transformative potential of LLMs in the realm of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).

About the presenters

Friedrich “Sam” Steiner: Visionary in Crime Analysis and Law Enforcement Leadership

Friedrich “Sam” Steiner, a Chief Inspector with the Austrian Federal Police, has been at the forefront of law enforcement for over four decades.Instrumental in the creation of the Styrian Crime Analysis Unit in 2005, Sam’s vast experience encompasses uniformed and undercover work combating serious drug crime. As the head of the Styrian Crime Analysis Unit, he brings a wealth of knowledge in crime analysis methodologies.

Sam, a driving force in sharing crime analysis experiences globally, will introduce the event.

Iulian Timischi: Intelligence Analyst Consultant and GraphAware Expert

Iulian Timischi, an intelligence analyst consultant with over 15 years of hands-on experience, is not only an expert in his field but also a driving force in innovation. Working closely with GraphAware, a globally recognized graph software development company, Iulian is at the forefront of automated OSINT data transformation into a comprehensive knowledge graph. He will lead the session, guiding us through the intricacies of automating OSINT data collection using Large Language Models.

Abstract

In this webinar, we will guide you through the effective utilisation of Large Language Models (LLMs) for gathering OSINT data, and illustrate the process of modelling this data into a comprehensive knowledge graph. We’ll showcase how LLMs enable the seamless parsing, annotation, and interconnected storage of collected data within a dynamic knowledge graph.

Throughout the presentation, you’ll observe the tangible results of this process—a knowledge graph that evolves and adapts, crafted from OSINT data.

For the demonstration, we’ll use Hume, an end-to-end graph analytics platform designed to seamlessly integrate various data sources and services. Hume enhances and enriches data collected from open sources, significantly bolstering your investigative capabilities.

Webinar Takeaways:

➪ Implement OSINT framework in knowledge graph

➪  Use LLM to process OSINT data

➪ Connect your data into a dynamic knowledge graph.
